History:

The Special Investigations and Recovery of Assets specialists known as Pinkertons were initially assembled through the "zeta human project", a Special Forces directive, assigned under Colonel Jeremiah Lee. The army had been aware of reports about the existence of “superhumans” for years but it wasn’t until the "Zeta" project that the branches of our military finally recognized and began to accept their existence. The personnel known as Pinkertons were the Army’s first and only attempt at deploying a superhuman soldier capability to compliment army combat actions.

The "Zeta Project" had tremendous promise and potential. Fortunately it was an utter disaster. The Pinkertons are now free to pursue their own objectives and they are capable of facing down any threat, or so they think...
